Learning in the Time of AI

LLMs have been lauded for their ability to reduce effort and increase productivity. Certain tasks that would have previously taken hours can be done now in seconds with the help of an LLM. Can we say the same about learning? Does AI help us turn hours of learning into seconds? Or is it a shortcut that helps us now at the cost of harming us later?
